After studying archtitecture at İstanbul tachnical University Department of Architecture, she completed her master degree at Department of Urban Design of the same univesity. She studied management, marketing and finance at Bogazici University. She started her career during her studies and worked for various design and construction companies. Between 1997-2005, she worked as the project coordinator at Enternasyonal Turizm Yatırım and between 2005-2009 as the coordinator of business development and construction and specialised in the field. In 2009, she started to work as the Istanbul General Manager of Extensa.
 
Özlem Gökçe is a member of GYODER, IPYD, ULI and Gocek Yacht Club. In 1997, she was awarded in the professional category at Convivial Spaces Competition at Habitat II and given International Project Managing Award granted by IPYD in 2008. She is currently working as Extensa Istanbul General Manager and also a Board Member.

Extensa group is founded in 1910 to develop big residential projects and since then it is the biggest developer company in the area.
