He was born in Ankara, in 1974. After graduating in 1997 from Hacettepe University, Barış Kaya held various positions in Consumer Banking Departments, first in Turkish Economy Bank and then in Akbank. Later on, he worked as the responsible executive in Denizbank Housing and Vehicle Loans Department for four years and he has been still working as the Housing Loans Executive in ING Bank.

Barış Yılmazkaya still holds the position as a Managing Committee Member of Mortgage Broker Association of Turkey and a member of Working Group in The Bank Association of Turkey. He also carries out courses about Real Estate Consulting at Bosphorus University’s Lifelong Learning Centre.
