Cem Alfar has built 19 years of his career on real estate and retailing. He worked in McDonald’s Real Estate Division. Then, he became the general manager in charge with managing and expanding Bang & Olufsen and Harley-Davidson products in Turkey. He continued his career in German ECE Shopping Center Development Group as the country real estate development manager and contributed to the business by various Shopping Center Management takeovers as well as two developments projects in Eskisehir and Istanbul. In his position of Real Estate Development Director of Doğan Holding, he successfully managed the real estate assets of the Group as to create and maintain a qualified portfolio and a steady income flow. He has joined Foruminvest - a Dutch developer/investor company actively looking for large scale shopping center developments in all over Turkey-as the General Manager of the Turkish Subsidiary in 2007. 
 
Early in 2010, he created AcreS–Alfar Commercial Real Estate Solutions to render development, concept, leasing and management consultancy services to international and Turkish clients.
